Cycling Pulse has again partnered with Child.org on a campaign designed to promote Ride Africa: Kenya 2019.
The Brief
Child.org wanted to build awareness and generate signups for their February 2019 500km ride through Kenya.
The Idea
Leveraging the power of our highly engaged audiences on Facebook and Instagram, we created three pieces of content designed to showcase Ride Africa as the ‘best ride you’ve never heard of’.

For Facebook we created a 70-second video highlighting the features of the ride. We also told the story of Ride Africa through an innovative Facebook Canvas. Canvases are mobile-only full screen experiences designed to encourage users to interact with the content to explore the story. Leading with ‘Discover the greatest ride you’ve never heard of’ users were asked to ’tilt’ and ‘tap’ their way through the content to explore Ride Africa.
On Instagram, we created a series of fun, immersive Instagram Stories exploring the incredible scenery you will encounter on the ride.
Results
The campaign generated superb levels of views and engagement, with significant numbers of signups for Ride Africa.
Cycling Pulse also partnered with Child.org in May 2018 on a similar campaign.
